Stripes or "Genetic" stripes were a long desired mutation before they were ever proven genetic. For many
years, all kinds of striped animals existed in breeders collections that
were never reproducible. Finally, a genetically striped animal was
hatched
and the rest is history.
The potential for combinations with this mutation is just limitless. With all of the color morphs that already exist,
a pattern mutation like the stripe is the perfect compliment.
