Payment Plan FAQ

So many people email me asking about payment plans that instead of typing the same
thing over and over I decided to do a little write up on about them. That way when I get emails I can just copy and paste the text in or
link to this page.
Do you do payment plans?
Absolutely! I realize as well as anyone that many people (myself included) just don't have huge sums
of cash around to spend on ball pythons morphs. I have used payment plans in the past to purchase morphs that I couldn't just buy outright and
enjoy providing the same opportunity to 8 Ball customers.
How do they work?
I like to think that my payment plans are simple and flexible. After you pick out the ball python(s) that you're interedted in, you send
me a 10% deposit. Then, you let me know how long you need to pay the balance and the minimum you can send each month. Suggestions like $5.00 a month for the next 40 years are a little too extreme for me, but generally I'm willing to work out any reasonable arrangement.
The most important thing is that your agreed payment makes it to me each month. That lets me know that you are still "out there" and interested in your ball python and
that I don't have to "come looking for you". Once your balance is paid, I ship out your animal!
What forms of payment do you accept for payment plans?
That's easy ... cash, personal or business check, money order, PayPal, credit card, etc ... you can vary it each month if you'd like.
I'm definitely not shy when it comes to accepting a payment!
Is there a price difference for a payment plan?
Nope, the price is the price. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to pay it off, it's the same price as if you were paying all at once.
How will my ball python be cared for while I make payments?
When you make your deposit, the snake is marked as "SOLD" on my website and I put a green sticker on it's box in my shop with your name on it. Other
than that, I don't treat it any different than my own animals. It's feed and cleaned on the same schedule and offered as much food as it wants to eat.
Do you send pictures and weights of my ball python while I'm paying it off?
Definitely, but within reason. If you're interested in weights or pictures while you're making payments, all you have to do is ask. But,
sometimes my schedule (like everyones) is very very hectic and I can't get back with pictures right away. I'm usually pretty good about it and if you're willing to have
a little bit of patience, it's definitely not a problem.
Can you ship the day I make my final payment?
Unfortunately, since this is not my full time "gig", I do need 5 - 10 days notice before I ship. I like to do all of my shipping on either
Mondays or Tuesday and I also need time to make sure your snake has an empty stomach (safer for shipping) and to put the finishing touches on all of your paperwork.
